Oops, it really seems like that another month has passed which means that summer and of course the next Bike Flea market is coming. The latter is going to be on 8th June on Saturday in the Szimpla Kert as usual. There is going to be a very unique program: the commencement of Szimpla to be a sanctuary point by Ferenc Dávid, the head of the Cyclist Church of Babilon's Rabbits. It starts at 3 pm. Above this, if you do not have a bike yet or you need some equipment, decoration, gadgets or God knows what, then come here to find anything that may be necessary. Starting at 1 pm there is going to be plenty of things connected to bikes, you can browse through accessories, components, and you can even buy them. And don't forget what is very important: these products are made by Hungarian designers. So you can own real quality products if you look around and shop at the Szimpla Bike Flea Market. The music is played by the two usual great djs: DJ Piri and DJ Peta.

On the 13th August Seven Wheels Szimpla Bike Basement opened it’s gates. Two in one: it is situated in the Szimpla Information Bar and at the opposite side of the road, in front of it in the basement. In the latter one can rent or make repaired bicycles.
Of course there is a shop as well: bike apparel for women and men, trousers, belts, bracelets, jewels made of recycled materials, and many stuff that refers to Szimpla and Budapest (fridge magnets, t-shirts, badges). As we are not a design shop, our goods are special, one of a kind, made by Hungarian designers and sold at a reasonable price. Seven Wheels Szimpla Bike Basement is not only a venture, but it’s aim is to be the center of bike-culture for both tourists and natives. Bikes to be rented are old-fashioned, vintage ones with coaster. Rachel Demkó, leader of the basement is happy to help in any case: rental, repair, or if you need any accessory. We are open every day between 11:00AM and midnight.
